Tomb Raider Film Expanded Soundtracks & Singles

I like to create custom albums of unreleased music and tracks that have been featured in trailers and other media. I just revamped my soundtracks and singles from the films and I thought I would share them with you all. I love different variations of songs and remixes so I created Reloaded, expanded albums from the films containing tracks that were never featured on the original soundtracks with new remixes and bonus tracks. Some pieces of music have never been released outside of the film so they have some dialogue in them, such as "Cambodia Chase" and "Lab Scene".

Tomb Raider Film Sequel Nabs Director & Release Date

Ben Wheatley has been confirmed as the director for the sequel to 2018's "Tomb Raider" and a release date of March 19th, 2021 is set for the film. Ben Wheatley's films include Free Fire, Kill List, and Rebecca. He should have a very interesting take on our heroine. Amy Jump is writing the script. Alicia Vikander is Lara Croft. Filming should start next year.

Also, new images of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft have surfaced online from the first film and fans are going wild over them.

The Making of a Tomb Raider Released Online

At last! I am so glad that this little treat has finally been released to the public! I wanted to go to the nearest theater in Utah to see this so bad, but I could not make it. Best enjoyed on larger screens with a side of popcorn!

K.Flay's "Run For Your Life" Music Video

Check out the official "Run For Your Life" music video by K.Flay! The video features some amazing cuts from the new "Tomb Raider" movie as well as K.Flay herself. I love the song and the movie so much and you should go see it yourself in theaters if you haven't already! It's so worth it!

"Tomb Raider" Movie Soundtrack Available Everywhere

The "Tomb Raider" movie soundtrack score is available now from all major retailers and streaming services. I really love this soundtrack. Junkie XL did an exquisite job capturing the emotion and the action of the movie. In the theater the music literally pulls you into the scenes and I felt every minute of it. I also love that he had a custom Tahitian drum set made exclusively for the score just like Jason Graves created "The Instrument" for the reboot game. Junkie's incorporation of edited animal sounds is a really cool touch as well.

Mattel Releases "Tomb Raider" Barbie!

That's it! Tomb Raider and Lara Croft have hit the mainstream bigtime again! At least in my eyes! Mattel has recently launched an official "Tomb Raider" Barbie doll! Lara Croft is now a part of the Black Label Barbie Series! Isn't she gorgeous?! She comes complete with her trusty pick axe, her father's journal, and a map of Yamatai. What an iconic time to be a Tomb Raider fan!

The official release date is March 9th, but folks have already been finding them on shelves at Toys 'R' Us across the US. They have been hard to come by elsewhere so far. You can order her online now through Amazon.

New promotional images for Tomb Raider have been circling about and boy are they stunning! I love the direction they are taking to promote this film and I believe it is really going to pay off.

Tomb Raider hits theaters March 16th and I am so excited! It's just around the corner!

Tomb Raider Arcade Game Hits Dave & Buster's!

A brand new Tomb Raider arcade game has hit all 108 Dave & Buster's locations around the country! Play this unique shooter with up to four players at once, shooting your way through the island of Yamatai to get the highest score. Solarii enemies and wolves will try to take you down as you progress through three parts of the first episode. Don't forget to collect totems and other weapons as well! Only one episode is available at the moment, with at least two more to follow sometime down the line. 

I have played the game myself and it is so much fun! The booth is massive and very high quality and the guns are Lara's signature style Heckler & Koch pistols! You actually cock them!

The Tomb Raider arcade game will be open to other vendors after the year end.

The song "Run For Your Life" is an epic jam that I have been listening to on repeat ever since it hit the internet! K.Flay is an amazing artist and has the perfect sound for the film. I can't wait to hear it in the cinema.
