Alicia Vikander Cast as New Lara Croft in Upcoming Film

Alicia Vikander has been cast as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider film. The Swedish actress, producer, and dancer is most recently known for her work in Ex Machina and The Danish Girl. The latter of which landed her an Academy Award. Alicia has mentioned that she was not allowed to play Tomb Raider games as a child, but did in secret. She definitely has the look and experience to play a more relatable Lara Croft. Expect more details sometime soon.
