Tomb Raider Film Expanded Soundtracks & Singles

I like to create custom albums of unreleased music and tracks that have been featured in trailers and other media. I just revamped my soundtracks and singles from the films and I thought I would share them with you all. I love different variations of songs and remixes so I created Reloaded, expanded albums from the films containing tracks that were never featured on the original soundtracks with new remixes and bonus tracks. Some pieces of music have never been released outside of the film so they have some dialogue in them, such as "Cambodia Chase" and "Lab Scene".

20th Anniversary Edition Vinyl of Tomb Raider Film Soundtrack on Record Store Day!

For the first time ever get your hands on this 20th Anniversary Edition "Golden Triangle" Vinyl of the soundtrack to Tomb Raider! This is a very limited edition only available today at your local record shop for Record Store Day! I was lucky enough to get into my store when it opened to the public after all the ticket holders finished shopping. Original Tomb Raider Film Gets Remastered

In celebration of 2001's Tomb Raider turning 20 years old, Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing a remastered version of the film. This edition comes adorned with brand new cover art and it is gorgeous. A blu-ray as well as a 4K bundle including The Cradle of Life will be available. Each version will include digital copies of the films and all previously released bonus material. Look for these beauties on June 1st.

The original motion picture soundtrack for Tomb Raider is now available on vinyl! This exclusive record is limited to 1,500 copies worldwide and features an alluring clear & red colored vinyl, printed gatefold sleeve, 2 printed inner-sleeves, a poster, and a PVC sleeve to protect the whole package.

Scored by none other than Junkie XL, aka Tom Holkenborg, the soundtrack is absolutely mesmerizing and a real treat to listen to and when watching the film, fills every moment perfectly.

Tomb Raider Movie Trailer 2 Drops the Mic!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!! I CAN'T EVEN!!! I am so pumped for this movie after this adrenaline pumping trailer! Sit back and behold the epic wonder of the island, the electrifying score, and and fierceness of Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft herself! I love the incorporation of an amazing rendition of Destiny's Child's song "Survivor"! Very well done.

Many big names dropped articles along with the trailer this morning, including VOGUE and GQ. The new trailer and Tomb Raider in general went global, trending at an astonishing #7 on Twitter. The number of outlets running this trailer is absolutely astounding. Looks like Lara is back on top of her multimedia empire once again!

Classic Tomb Raider Films Re-Mastered in 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray

I know a lot of us were wondering if the classic Tomb Raider films would be re-released somehow in the coming of the new reboot...and they are! Here you can see both movies are getting a snazzy updated cover and the 4K Ultra HD HDR treatment. Now, since the movies are older, the true 4K clarity probably won't be there, but I'm sure they will look beautiful and play better on the screens of our new televisions. 

Both films will be released February 27th 2018, appearing to have two discs and digital copies as well. Check out the links below for more information.

Tomb Raider Movie Promotion Begins

Promotion for the new Tomb Raider film has officially hit the ground rolling with the release of an intense new poster, breathtaking magazine covers, and Alicia Vikander herself kicking off the press tour in Brazil.

Pick up the regular edition of Total Film magazine, seen above, on December 22nd and subscribe for the exclusive cover seen at the top of this post. The magazine contains the world exclusive preview of the film with interviews of the cast and more. Check out the new images below.

A new poster has been released showing the fierceness of our new Lara Croft, Alicia Vikander.

Alicia kicked off the films press tour at the Unique Hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She looks absolutely stunning in a flowing dress among a sweet Tomb Raider set piece.
