"Shadow of the Tomb Raider" has officially been announced alongside the movie hitting theaters worldwide! The hype is real in the mere 20 second teaser trailer above, but what it reveals is even more staggering: A RELEASE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2018! THAT'S JUST 6 MONTHS AWAY! Even better, we don't have to wait long for a full reveal of the game on April 27th! It's complete insanity! I can't wait!

Tomb Raider Underworld Goes Backwards Compatible On Xbox One

I would have thought the trilogy of Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld would have been made backwards compatible back when the announcement of Rise of the Tomb Raider being Xbox exclusive hit, but alas no. We finally get to play Underworld though! The Xbox exclusive DLC is backwards compatible as well! Hopefully the others will follow suite soon.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Launch Material

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration launches this coming Tuesday! Until then we've got a bunch of new screenshots and a glorious new trailer to tide us over. The game is releasing on PS4, but the new DLC and modes will be available for Xbox One and PC users as well with the Season Pass or separately.

Watch as I play the latest DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider. In Cold Darkness Awakened, Lara must save the valley from a violent toxin that transforms men into blood-thirsty beasts! She must destroy the weapons research facility before its too late! This is a very interesting predicament we find Lara in. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and just plain scary! Thankfully, there's a "Groovy" card that morphs your flashlight into a psychedelic rainbow.

The DLC pack includes 15 new Expedition Cards, the Voidhammer Shotgun, and the Ushanka outfit, which reduces damage Lara  receives from melee attacks.

Baba Yaga - The Temple of the Witch DLC will be released in January 2016 as part of the season pass or through the Xbox Store.

Rise of the Tomb Raider Prophet's Legacy Pack

The Prophet's Legacy pack is available now for Rise of the Tomb Raider on both Xbox One and Xbox 360, and is part of the season pass or for purchase at $2.99.

Includes the "Immortal Guardian" outfit that reduces Lara's damage from Greek Fire, the "Piercing Truth" dagger and a card pack with two guaranteed rare cards and three other cards that have an increased chance at being rare.

Rise of the Tomb Raider On Xbox One

Have you pre-ordered your copy of Rise yet? The game launches this Tuesday and you can pre-order it digitally now right from the Xbox One.

Pre-Order the Deluxe Edition and receive the "Remnant Resistance Pack." Includes the "Remnant" outfit which gives Lara a chance to bandage without using any resources, the "Moon Shadow" Heavy Pistol, and the rare "Bullet Resistance" foil card, which gives Lara extra damage resistance to gunfire.

The Season Pass is also included. The Season Pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider includes a range of content that will extend your single-player campaign, and also allow you to compete with friends. Three major releases will challenge you to survive the extreme conditions of Endurance Mode, explore a new tomb that houses an ancient terror in Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, and combat waves of infected predators in Cold Darkness Awakened. New details have emerged about the Rise of the Tomb Raider exclusivity deal. From The Official Tomb Raider Blog:
