Updates On The Tomb Raider Suite Progress

GameFaceShow recently interviewed Nathan McCree on The Tomb Raider Suite and his progress on the project.

Nathan is hard at work getting The Tomb Raider Suite all set for production! Over the last month he has been going through all of the orders of the backers tallying up everything that needs to be made. He is about half way through, so hang in there if you haven't heard from him yet. He will confirm your add-ons and such via e-mail.

The stretch goals are also looking like they indeed will be possible. Nathan has confirmed that the choir will be increased from 20 to 40 members and a 5th recording session will be held at Abbey Road Studios. Hopefully the rest of the goals can be made as well.

The Tomb Raider Suite website will soon be updated with options to purchase select Kickstarter merchandise and the retail version of the album!

New Tomb Raider Comic Series Announced!

Dark Horse and Crystal Dynamics have announced Tomb Raider: Survivor's Crusade, the third run of comics from the reboot series. A whole new creative team will detail Lara's quest to uncover the mystery of her father's death. And...hopefully...these issues will lead into the next Tomb Raider game! Preview the story and sketches below!

Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade boasts a whole new creative team with Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly (Joyride, Hacktivist) composing Lara’s new adventure, while Ashley A. Woods (Ladycastle, Niobe) brings Lara Croft to life, and colorist legend Michael Atiyeh (Conan the Slayer, Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens) makes the art pop! Hannah Fisher (Cosmoknights) has created the gorgeous cover for the first issue."

"In Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade, Lara Croft has unfinished business. After facing Trinity in Siberia, she’s driven to unravel the mystery behind her father’s death. With "The Tomb Raider Suite" album in the process of being recorded and not much else popping up on the new "Tomb Raider" film, we are in a bit of a lull... TOMB RAIDER SUITE CAMPAIGN FINALE

The Tomb Raider Suite has just over an hour left and we have seen such tremendous support! With a main goal of about $207,000 USD, we are currently sitting at a whopping $247,827 USD! That's almost 120% funded!

We can only assume that the stretch goals of mastering the original synthesizer soundtracks and the documentary are within reach, but we'll just have to wait to hear from Nathan himself. I am so happy for Nathan McCree and all of us Tomb Raider fans can rejoice in cherishing his music all over again in a brand new masterpiece.
