Classic Tomb Raider Trilogy to Receive Official Soundtrack Release!

 

The original composer, Nathan McCree, of the classic Tomb Raider trilogy of games has stated that the official soundtracks are in production! This news comes to us in an email sent out to fans who were involved in the Kickstarter campaign for the Tomb Raider Suite. The first to be released sometime in February, coinciding with the release of Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered. 

I really hope we get previously unreleased material, such as music from the FMV's that have never been available in the past.

Tomb Raider Coming to Magic: The Gathering

Tomb Raider is joining Magic: The Gathering in a brand new Secret Lair card pack due to be released on November 20th, 2023. The artwork is absolutely stunning and you can really see the incorporation of the unification Lara timeline here. Even the Chirugai from The Angel of Darkness makes an appearance! 

The seven card pack will be available in foiled and non-foiled versions for a limited time. Comicbook.com has all the specifics on the cards and more.

Legendary Pictures and Powerhouse Animation along with Crystal Dynamics will bring this epic adventure to life, coming 2024. 

Netflix Reveals Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Animated Series

We finally have a glimpse of the Tomb Raider animated series! Albeit a very short teaser trailer and not even one voice line... I'm excited to see what the creators do with the show. It's already confirmed for two seasons so I take that as being very promising.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will pick up where Shadow of the Tomb Raider left off and lead into the next main game. It will also give us our first look at the unification of the timelines and the merging of modern and classic Lara.

Hayley Atwell will voice Lara Croft, Earl Baylon will reprise his role as Jonah Maiva, Allen Maldonado is Zip, and Tasha Huo is writing for the show.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is set to release sometime in 2024.

Netflix Animated Showcase 9/27

Netflix is to reveal upcoming animated series during the official showcase premiering on September 27th, 2023. If you look closely you can see hints at Tomb Raider in the texts and Crystal Dynamics is mentioned. We will finally get our first look at the animated series and what to expect. All that is known so far is that Hayley Atwell will voice Lara Croft.

Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered Announced!

AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! I literally cannot contain my excitement!!! They've done it!!! Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics announced Tomb Raider I-II-III Remastered!!! I have dreamed of this day for so long and it's finally here! They have really done our girl justice too. Lara is gorgeous and the environments are stunning while keeping true to the originals. 

The classic trilogy of games have been bundled together in a beautiful package with enhanced visuals, a new character model, all expansions and secret levels, and more. Switch between the classic look and updated graphics on the fly at any time.

Pre-Orders are open now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC/Steam/GOG.

Tomb Raider in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Now

Lara Croft joins Call of Duty Modern Warfare II in the Season 05 Operator Bundle! The famous archeologist wields her legendary dual pistols complete with the Croft Family Crest embedded into the handles! Other weapons at her disposal include the "Mythic Defender" SMG and the "Ice Axe".
